Maybe this would help us all...

After seeing the new seat I had done for my bike, several people on the site have inquired about getting one. The price is right...$389. for both Pilot and Passenger...the wormanship is second to none...and best of all, the seat is great!!!!

Problem is, most of you don't live in this area so riding down isn't an option and neither does anyone of us want to wait 2-3 weeks to get your seat shipped to the guy here, redesigned and then shipped back...

SOOOOOOO....I was wondering if anyone had an old set of stock seats ('06 or '07 will work), lying around gathering dust. This way, he could go ahead and re-do that seat and then when anyone on this site wanted one, they contact him, he ships the new one, they install it on their bike, immediatly ship their stock seat back to him. WALA!!!! You have a new custom made, comfortable seat for less than $400.00 and you never even miss a day of riding!

If you have one lying around you'd be willing to contribute, let me know. Even at a reduced cost. Let me be clear, I DON'T STAND TO MAKE A NICKEL OFF THIS DEAL....Just trying to figure out a way we could help others on the site get a great seat at a great price without a lot of hassle. And remember, be generous, "What goes around, comes around"!

Post here if you have one you would "donate" or sell at a low cost.

I'll measure the seat height, but I don't think it changed that much. I have a short (30") inseam and I can just about flat-foot it at stops, so it's not too bad, whatever it is. But frankly, I would have settled for "tippy-toes" at stoplights to have the monkey-butt allieviated!!

Now...does anyone have an old seat?
