New Kuryakyn Bag Mounted....

Today I received my Kuryakyn Grantour bag and mounted it on the luggage rack. It mounts up VERY securely, has a great, moveable lumbar support...I think it looks OK and for $128 it sure is a great value. I posted some pics and will have to see how it works out long-term. Just couldn't afford $500-600 for the BMW trunk right now and I had to get something on there for the wife, 'cause of course, this is the 152 bhp GT, not the 116 bhp GLT!

I like it Jack. And it was probably cheaper than my big topcase. But my wife insisted on me buying the larger topcase for her. I'm just here to make her happy.

Are you sure that's not one of them new LT's?

BTW, you're ready to sneak off to CCR now.

That must be the small trunk, Jack. I was quoted $850 for the large one!

Farkleaholics Anonymous?

Jack, Dressing up the new toy. Lookin' good! You've got a sweet looking new scoot there!

Has your SO made any comments regarding roominess/comfort as compared to the LT? Are your ride distances similar?

For her, nothing matches the LT. In a second, she will tell you she misses it sorely. I hate it, but, I LOVE MY GT. It gets better every day and i think the same will be true for her. I do get one great benefit from the GT...she hugs me more and holds on tight...and let me tell 'ya, this preacher hit the ball out of the park on a good lookin' wife! Whew!!! No more backrest between me and her!

our ride distances are still the same. I can ride the GT just as long as I could ride the LT. With the new seat and all!

If I did the conversion right (specs say that bag is 18x14x20), it holds 82L! Great googly moogly! I think my wife could fit all her warpaint in there and still have room for all her shoes!

You tell her yet????? I'll fix ya right up. Have her give me a call when she's got a minute!!

BTW - have you purchased all the bag liners and stuff for your ride? I've got two or three bags that I won at Lone Star's annual gig coupla years ago. I don't need 'em, and if they'll fit your ride, you can have 'em for a Latte, or maybe I'll try some of that green tea s&*t you drink.

Meet me down at the storage unit some evening and I'll show 'em to ya - I think they're in the trunk of the GTO.

Oh, yeah, like I'd still be alive if I told HER that!

I'll take a look at those bags some time. My sis and bro-in-law were quite impressed when i popped the bags off and took 'em into the house.
