Zumo RAM ball mount for the clutch oil cover

I'm trying to help a friend here:
He has a 2007 GT and bought a Zumo GPS
I could not find a place to install it but on the clutch oil cover.
Any other ideas?
if that is the case, the RAM mount for the LT would be the same for the GT?
Thank you

Elton, look at this thread for one option, and this thread for several more options.

If you still want to go with the clutch cover/RAM mount, let me know as I have one available.

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

Hi Raffy,
How is the CCR?
I got Ken's cover this weekend and try to mount it on my friends bike but the internal design of the cover is different for the LT to the GT.
After try to install on the GT, it has one 'dent' for the rubber seal that there is not on the LT. I open my cover and indeed, they are different internally.

Is there any way to see pictures for the back of the cover?

I ran into this same problem trying to use the same mount from my 03 GT on the 07GT. Cranking it down seemed to keep it from leaking, but still didn't want to take the chance. I've been waiting to see if a new version that is exact comes out.

I don't know about the clutch cover, but I did see a GT here with the Ram-mount adapter on the brake side. Wish I was closer so I could come and take a look.

See the picture below.
The cover you have, with ball, has that 'indent' on it?

That's news to me. I need to talk with my vendor and see if he can supply them for the '07 GT.
