Cee bailey Screen

I am interested in replacing the screen on my 2007GT with a Cee Bailey screen and reading the comments so far I have this question. I am 5' 9'' and I note that the people who replace their screens with a 4'' high by 2'' wider screen are 6' or over. I think I would be better off with a 2'' + 2'' screen as I like a bit air on my face but not as much as I get with the standard screen. Can anyone give me any first hand experience reguarding this matter.
I live in Australia so I will have to import one and I want to get the size right first time.
Thanks. Barry

I am 5'10", and installed a 4/high x 3/wide.

Fully lowered, I no longer have air directly in my eyes, and can wear my ballcap without it blowing off in that position and can still see over screen.

With stock screen, I had to raise it at least halfway to achieve same results.

I have the standard factory screen, not the higher version that some have.

Cee Bailey screen

I forgot to state that I ride with the seat in the low position and the bars in the lowest position. The seat is the standard hight seat.

I hve posted this same reply many times. Cee Bailey designations for screens are arcane (ridiculous). I have many of their screens and I always order 'centerline height', no questions there. I am 5' 8" and I have two screens one centerline height of 24" and one centerline height of 23". The 24" is better. I like the +3, which means 1.5 inches wider on each side. At low position on the GT I look over the screen, at full height I look thru it. I don't ride 2-up so don't know how it is-in back, but it is far superior to both the high or stand BMW screen. Good luck.

Once again, forget all their +4 +2 blah, blah, just give centerline height.

Thanks Jim and John, I'll take your comments onboard and order a new screen as soon as we get back from holidays in early June (we are off to Europe next week)

Remember Cee Bailey's measurements are from the stock low screen. I ordered a +4 as I wanted to get just a couple inches from my stock high screen. Also that little flair on the top of the CB seems to help with turbulence.

Being 6' 2" tall, the +4/+2 is spot on! I couldnt have asked for a better screen. Wider or taller and it would be a sail, and its still sporty.
