I let my K1300GT sit for 1 year

How do i get it running again without damaging it?

Check fluids, charge battery, check for mice damage, if the fuel hadn't been treated, then drain it.

1986 Yamaha FJ600

After it starts let it idle. On start up the engine may have a little cam chain noise but that should go away pretty quick. After it warms up take for spin and then change the oil & filter. You would be surprised at how condensation oil can get by sitting for a while. Get some fresh gas in it. Oh yeah check the air pressure in the tires and look them over. Lastly change last years air in the tires to this years air
