Pirelli Angel GT

I may be going back to PR4s. This is an Angel GT on my K1300GT after only 2,600 miles

Re: Pirelli Angel GT

I had the Angel GT "A" spec on my RT. I liked them in both wet and dry. The rear picked up a nail on the interstate with 10,300 miles, but looked like it had another 2,000 miles left. I replaced the front at 12,000 with a PR4GT to match the replacement rear.

I do enjoy riding left-hand curves and obviously ride them more aggressively. Because of that I tend to ride roads in the direction that has more technically challenging left hand curved.

Re: Pirelli Angel GT

I just finished mounting the last Angel GT A spec rear tire for the K1300GT that I have in my garage. I talked with the Metzler rep at the Georgia Mountain Rally yesterday and showed him the picture of the worn out tire. He suggested that I try the new Metzler Z8 Roadtech Interact O spec tire. I ordered one today and will try it when this Angel GT wears out.

A bit of trivia...
Did you know that Metzler is owned by Pirelli?
