Passenger Powerlet Suggestions?

Hi All,

Sorry for the cross post from the other site, but trying to cover my bases here....

Was up at my dealer Saturday test riding their GT again (mine is arriving in port today, but I couldn't resist!) and my wife and I noticed that there's no rear power point. As it's getting cooler (and who doesn't like to have heat when it gets cold) I started looking for a clean mounting location for another accessory outlet.

Has anyone checked into this already and found a good location for a powerlet port for the passenger?

Seems ludicrous that BMW wouldn't have designed one into the bike, but.....

I don't like "installed" power ports anyway. I have a power cable under my seat for me, and one under the passenger seat for my wife. When we need to use the electric gear, I just lift the seats and pull out the cables where ever we need them. Connect the Dual Heat-Trollers to those and we're good to go. I like the smaller coax connectors that Gerbing's uses now-a-days. I have a Powerlet outlet that I hide under the front battery cover for other uses.
