Clutch lever relacement?

So I had a fall off stopped dismount which bent my clutch lever. Still useful but has a big curve.

Is a clutch lever replaceable?
Costs guess?
Easy to install or need clutch bleeding and all?

I'm off on a 2 week two up ride in June so i thought I'd check to see if I could fix it.

Re: Clutch lever relacement?

It's a straight forward job and only take a few minutes.
If you are thinking of replacing with aftermarket levers beware the K1200GT 2006/2008 have a unique to that model clutch lever, not however the brake lever. If you are replacing with OEM lever then no problem.

Thanks.

A few minutes tells me a lot. I'll get right on that.

In the spirit of "teach a man to fish," here's the web address of a complete illustrated parts system for BMWs, including yours. You can look up the illustrated parts breakdowns to learn what's a separate part and what isn't for example, and many times a price is listed, too.

About 5 minutes if you have your tools assembled...

Re: Clutch lever relacement?

Thanks guys

I took the lever off and carefully bent it back some. All is good.
