Exclamation If you add a Remus...

If you add a Remus take note, per the instructions with the exhaust, you must protect the right side case from the excess heat by adding BMW Heat Resistant Foil to the case exterior. BMW p/n 46 54 2 316 611. Expected to get the Remus installed today; however, dealer didn't have the heat guard. I suspect this is similar if not identical to the foil on the bottom of the LT bag.

I am in love with the tone of the OEM pipe...but I am curious to hear and see the Remus pipe. Let us know whatcha think once it's installed.

Added the Remus to my new GT. It sounds a bit deeper with a nice rumble with the baffle in. Not too loud at all. I will give you a report once I pull. the baffle out.
The can goes on with little effort. Fits absolutely perfect. Typical high quality product.
Is it worth the $ - who knows??

Remus Carbon

Remus carbon is just about right for noise and is not offensive. Quality is spot on perfect. Fitting header pipes is a chore to get all the plastic off; but once again easy.
