2013 RT audio BT Compatible - Almost

G'day All,

We have Nolan N104 Helmets with B4 units.

These have been working well as stand alone intercom up untill now but now we have a new 2013 RT with Blue Tooth.

We've been trying to integrate the B4 units with the bike's BT.

I can get my helmet to pair to the bike - no problems, but the bike won't pair with the second helmet - I get a message saying "UNABLE".

Would anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

As a second helmet you can only pair a BMW helmet equipped with the BMW communication system.

No longer exactly correct.
With a Sena SMH10 and the latest upgrade you can share music from the audio system to a second helmet. Not exactly two helmets paired separately but the same outcome

Exactly. But you can pair one headset to the bike share its music with another if so enabled. Sena 10 and the Scala G9x both can do that. Don't believe the Nolan B4s can.

Add the Cardo Q3 to that list. Same music sharing as 9x.

Been playing with the B4 gear today - no luck.

Tried first by having comms between helmets setup then turning on bike's BT

Hoping that I'd be able to use "Confrence Mode" to at least pass music through.

B4 has some sort of priority protocol that gives helmet to helmet first dibs and blocks bike's BT out.

Just read today in the Nolan documentation, it states; you can only connect to one A2DP source at a time, so it's looking like we're stumpped.

Surely there's a way round this

Not giving up - gonna keep trying..................
