Unhappy Wiring diagram for comm 1

Hi all I am looking for a better wiring diagram for the CB radio on a comm 1 system. I have found this http://jim-jensen.com/documents/CB_manual_pg30.pdf but it is not easily read. Anyone have a better copy?

Re: Wiring diagram for comm 1

There was no functioning CB for the BC-1. They made one for the BC-2 but it didn't work and was recalled for the BC-3. That system was made by J&M and actually worked fine using a Midland portable CB.

Attached is a better copy of the wiring for the BC-3 system.

You know what? I clicked on your attachment and it blew up into a nice readable picture. Took a snip of it here.

I guess I was brain dead Ron as I thought you were the original poster as his was unreadable. I think I'll just go back to sleep now!

Talking Re: Wiring diagram for comm 1

Thanx for the image Kellenbenz, that helps, what I am trying to accomplish is sort of a backwards compatible thing for A CB. What I am trying to do is use a Midland 75-830 portable CB with original harness for comm I (early comm system). Make an adapter cable and pug it into a comm II (later comm system). This means the original 8pin connector off the CB harness must reduce or adapt to the 6pin, to work on the comm II system. I have the connectors (plugs) to make this, just trying to come up with the pin out conversion to make this work. I tried contacting J & , the said they would not recommend it and want to sell the $500 hard wire in handle bar mount CB. Being the do it yourself kinda guy I am, I figured ho hard can it be... Once I can get the pin out figured out, I don't see why it would not work. Any one with any thoughts?
