Question Intercom systems, best bang for the buck?

Hi All,

I just purchased a new, to me, 2009 K1200LT and I'll be riding with my wife as a passenger. What intercom system, in your opinion, delivers the best bang for the buck?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Intercom systems, best bang for the buck?

I picked up this system to give bluetooth a try before making a major investment in one of the brand-name systems. Well I have been using them for two seasons now and they work great. The battery lasts all day, they pair easily to my cell phone and gps. The only gripe I have is that the speakers are not the best quality for music but if all you really need is bike to passenger or bike to bike (within a limited range) these might be a good option. You can find them on Ebay for under $100.

Sena SMH10 dual pack. Everything you need for him and her in one box. Shop around and you should be able to find one for under $300.

Ken I'm going to assume you don't have one of these -

in the oddments box.

Cause if you did all you'd need are headphone sets.

We use the SMH10 and love it... The range is a litle limited but when we're together we're not that far apart so it's not a big deal....

I can pair it to all my devices.. GPS, Radar detector, Mp3 player..and Phone..

Works flawlessly..
