Need help Troubleshooting - VoiceII & Motorola HF820

I used the Motorola HF820 on the older comm system to establish a bluetooth connection but I'm having some problems getting it to work with the Voice II.

I've got the HF820 paired with my phone and I can talk and hear through the device. When I connect the HF820 with a 2.5mm audio cable to the comm system I can hear the other person talking but they can't hear me.

I've tried adjusting the mic sensitivity from 1 through 9. I also tried press the push-to-talk button but can't get the mic to pick up my voice.

What can I do next to isolate the problem?

Any tips would be appreciated.

I believe for the phone to transmit your voice you need to use a four section pin into both the Voice II and the 820. If you are using a three section pin, 2.5. & 3.5, that is the problem.
Hope this helps,

The manual specifies a 3pin plug, but I'll try a four pin just in case. I did have this working with the comm system on the 03 bikes. Would be nice to get this working before my next trip.
