Sena Smh10 + Zumo 550 + Sena Sr10

Here's what I want to do.

1. Pair my iphone with my Zumo
2. Pair my Zumo to my SR10
3. Wire audio out from my Zumo to my SR10 (for XM radio).
4. Pair my SR10 with my SMH10 headset.

Everything works great except audio out on the phone. I can hear them, they can't hear me.

Any ideas?

The Sena connection guide suggests you pair the iphone to the SR10. The SR10 is a multi channel device and can support this configuration.

I have a similar problem. The person I call says it is very soft, almost garbled.

However i use the following config;
1) Nokia E5.0 paired to BMW Nav IV
2) BMW Nav IV paired to the SMH10

I can get music and talk to the passenger, but calling is a problem.

Previously I had the Scala-Rider, and that was even more problematic.

Best regards

Re: Sena Smh10 + Zumo 550 + Sena Sr10

The latest Bluetooth firmware update ( V3.0) to the SMH10 headset add a number of capabilities. One that could address both the above issues is multipoint connection capability. What this means is that now two Hand-Free Profile (HFP), Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP), sources can be connected to the headset at once, Bluetooth V2.1 did NOT have this capability. So your phone is one source and the GPS would be the second one.

Note; This information is only helpful if you have the SMH10 version that allows update through the mini-usb. The older ones without this can not be updated. SENA will sell you the upgraded main unit for $149.00 if you need to upgrade.
