any Schuberth SRC Experts out there?

I purchased two C3s and SRC systems for my pillion and I recently. After pairing them for our (primarily) intercom use, they work as described in the manual, i.e., after 20 - 30 seconds of quiet they shut down (remaining paired) and one has to speak forcefully to initiate intercom communications again with a second or two delay.

We chat a lot while riding but often are silent for more than 30 seconds. I want the com engaged at all times when we're riding without a delay because the unit timed out. I want to hear "DEER ON THE LEFT!" immediately without the delay.

Any suggestions? Has anyone figured out a possible solution?

The SRC does not operate like that. The mic is set-up to go mute after a brief period of silence, otherwise the mic will pick-up un wanted road noise. As you have discovered you activate it be speaking forcibly or loudly or alternatively, pressing one of the buttons (I forget which one but it it is in the manual).

All Bluetooth systems have this delay. It's just the nature of the technology. Most can be left in the "talk" mode for many hours without killing the battery, but of course then you don't get any other audio. We've learned to just turn them on and leave them on when we're navigating around town and might need to talk quickly.
