Convert J&M Speakers to Custom Ear Plug Speakers

Anyone converted J&M speakers to accept a miniplug for custom earplug speakers, or know if it can be done? Thanks.

Re: Convert J&M Speakers to Custom Ear Plug Speakers

I don't know of a new source....but cyclegadgets sold a plug in for the comm system that was a Y cord. It had a 6 pin din to go into the dash and then made a Y to both the 6 pin din for regular speakers or a 1/8th receptacle for stereo plugs.

They recently went out of business but I am sure there must be another source for them.

That sounds like an elegant solution to my need. As soon as I saw Cyclegadgets, my high quickly became a low as I am aware they unfortunately had to shut their doors. Thanks for your reply, it does offer some hope.
