BMW Nav lll

Just got an 02 LT. It came with an Garmin Nav lll. No paperwork came with this nav. No USB cable or anything. Can anyone help me with the removing of the unit from the cradle? Can I order a USB so I can do updates!

Thanks, Don

Re: BMW Nav lll

On the top of the unit is a little bracket that slides up,
in the top center of it you'll find a small torx screw loosen it and it will be removable.
The USB cable is pretty standard the one I use also fits one of my camera's,

Garmin maintains some info on the BMW GPSs, albeit not easily found. This page has Nav III FAQs: https://buy.garmin.com/support/searchSupport/search.htm

Re: BMW Nav lll

When you get to the Garmin site at the above link, enter the following into the search box:

"BMW Motorrad Navigator III"

That should bring up a couple pages of links. HTH!
