5 Pin intercom cable

Hi , I needed to replace the cable we had running from our motorcycle to our sidecar for our old Autocom intercom . It uses a 5 pin DIN , & needed to be at least 6 feet long . I found one a Radio Shack , http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103840 it was $7.99 . I also got one of there couplers http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2102523&clickid=prod_cs $3.59 to go with it ,as there cables are male on both ends . With the coupler it makes it a male on one end , & female on the other . I have used there 3 foot cables http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2102937 to hook our helmets to the intercom , I don’t know what there MIDI Cables with 5-Pin DIN Plugs they sell are used for , microphones or something . But I know they work quite well on our intercom .
