Rear trunk wiring harness removal/replacement

When I wired my Autocomm into the bike's speaker system several years ago, I had a dyslexic moment and made the connections on the rear box side of the connector; had to improvise in order to make it work. But (l) that means I can't take the rear box off since the wire-set is tied to the autocomm switching unit with about 6 soldered connections and (2) the connections I did make seem to be going south.

So I'm thinking that I might want to start over on the installation. Ideally, I'd like to find a new wiring harness for the top box, replace that and then do a better job of wiring the autocom in on the other side of the connector.

My question is this: has anyone replace the wiring harness in the top box?
