2M 70cm ham radio

Anybody out there have a 2M rig installed on their LT? I have a 2M/70cm dual band handy talkie that I used to have installed on my SilverWing. I would probably mount it atop the cd changer in the side case.

Interested in what you use for an antenna, how and where you mounted it and what you are using as a ptt switch.

No hurry but kind of feel like exploring some options. I have a wing nut buddy who is also a HAM and it would be nice to communicate with him on some of the longer sanctioned rides. Don't want to ride with him but would be informative to exchange information. Lots of repeaters that would reach the far corners of our riding areas. The Evergreen intertie comes to mind.

Definitely not interested in CB or FRS and not really interested in GMRS.
