Question HF 820 pin diameter?

Is the input socket on an HF 820 2.5 mm?

TIA

Re: HF 820 pin diameter?

I think so. I have my Autocom phone cord plugged into mine and it has the "mini jack" plug on the "phone" end. 3.5mm on the other end.

Re: HF 820 pin diameter?

I think it's the small one. 1.5 mm I think.

It's the smallest one they make.. Not the normal headphone jack size..
It is three conductor..

Yes, it is positively a 2.5mm 3 conductor pin. You can take it to the bank.

Re: HF 820 pin diameter?

I've got one of those HF820 laying around,
I don't think it will work with my new phone (Razor Z series)
never thought about the input jack,
so what can you attach to other end of the cord of the HF input jack?

You connect it to your Autocom cellphone input. I just get on the bike, push the button on the HF820, and I am good to go, cellphone stays in my pocket. Well, OK, I have to first turn on Bluetooth and auto answer on the phone.
