J & M Bluetooth headset

Has anyone tried this? I was hoping to use it with my iPhone. Any help would be appreciated.

Although I have read the info on this I have not tried it. I have had very good dealings with J & M over the years have no problem recommending them from that stand point.

As for Bluetooth on the helmet, I am waiting for some one to has a device that plugs into the bike at the traditional cord plug and bluetooths to the helmet and will handle all the audio functions that the bikes com system will support not just one or two items. I want all the cords to the helmet to go away...........

+1 Gene....It just seems like there should be a "dongle" that would plug in where the headset cord does, that would send everything bluetooth to the helmet. When that happens, bluetooth will be a reality for me.

I emailed John Lazzeroni yesterday and got a reply this morning. He will be visiting the forum after the first of the year with information on the next generation J&M Bluetooth setups that will do what we all want. It appears that it will involve separate "dongles" for the rider and passenger that will individually connect to the onboard comm system of the bike. He implied that these will be built for the Goldwing, K1200LT, and Harley Ultra. Not sure if this will apply to only LT's with the J&M Comm System or also the newer Voice systems as well.

It sounds like a good time to wait and see how all this develops.

HTH,

Ron

Hurray for John!

I have had very good experience dealing with them over the years. They really go the extra mile to assist. The timing will help with my wife to get over my recent buys....

The Intaride Liberty Wireless headsets are now shipping. They do have a dongle which plugs into the connector where the cable normally plugs in. Unlike the J&M which will require a dongle for both rider and passenger, the Intaride system only requires one.

See the post regarding Intaride cables for links to Intaride.
