Question Baehr comm

This goes out to all who use the Baehr comm system. I have a '99 K1200Lt, which has a BC-1 comm that doesn't work. It has a 25 pin connector on the back (female). I have sent emails to Baehr to try and determine if their unit with work with my wiring. Their exact quote was, "...all BMW K1200LT's are ESSENTIALLY the same!" Essentially is like nearly or close or almost. As we all know, the details ARE necessary. Baehr has not answered any more of my emails.
Now, if I am going to shell out $1200 to $1500 for their system, I really do not want to cut it up to see if it might work.
So, to you out there who use the Baehr system, could you send some feedback on this unit, especially the connections. I have been trying to get a working comm system for two years.

It's not going to work with your radio's 25 pin connector.

The ZBI-K1200LT has a special adapter that goes inline with the rear speaker wiring harness. The unit gets it's power as well as music input through the rear speaker wiring harness and you can also use your intercom.

Takes 15 minutes or less to install.
