? Re Noise Filter for CB

I have a Kenwood FRS/GMRS handheld that connects to the VOICE COM II and it is working great with the BMW PTT and my headset thru the VC II on my '06 LT.

After much debate and looking I have also purchased a Midland Model 75-822 handheld CB that has and auto adapter for a cigarette plug and a external antenna plug. http://www.beachaudio.com/Communicat...er-p-3433.html The plan is to find some one to make a compatible Comm II mic/spkr connecting cable (using the wiring diagram given here a while back) as well as installing a mounted cb antenna in the normal place by the rear trunk. I will carry the radio in the Chicane lid bag and run the power from one of the front power outlets.

Now this cb does not have a built in noise filter. Dumb question, where would you install one? On the power cord or the antenna wire? Any recommendations on a rear antenna? And running the antenna wire to come out somewhere in front of the condiment compartment lid?
