Garmin 2820, XM and Baehr K1200
Good Day! I have installed the above referenced gear and connected them with the Baehr cable specific for this task. GPS, XM and Bluetooth phone are all playing through headset speakers, But....Since they do not play through the factory audio system there is no bass and treble adjustment, volume has to be adjusted at the 2820 and handle bar mounted controls are not useable. When I cycle through the audio inputs on factory stereo by pressing *CD button I get FM, CD single, CD changer, AUX and Intercom. Could I route the audio from 2820 through the AUX imputs or could I remove the CD changer and route through those connections ( I figured XM would obsolete the CD changer and I would be getting some extra room in the bag andyway)? If so are they good old RCA type inputs or something more German? XM changes the whole riding experience and being able to use the factory controls would kick it up another notch. Thanks All!
