Baehr volume fade question

I have just installed a Baehr K1200LT and first impressions are favorable. I have noticed that after rider or pillion finish speaking and music fades back up to normal volume, the music is garbled or distorted during the fade. I would have expected a more smooth and clear fade up. Something more like turning up the volume dial on the home stereo. Is this typical of the Baehr unit? Thanks for your input.

I have never experienced that with my Baehr. The audio comes back in crisply, no distortion. Give your vendor (Raffy? Baehr USA?) a call; they may have some tips or suggestions.

That is good to know. I will touch base with Raffy. And might I say he is great to deal with and provides great customer service!

Thank you.

Just make sure that your connections are solid. May even want to put dielectric grease on the connectors and then tape up the connection with electrical tape.

May want to also adjust your VOX settings.

Thats the ticket. Mine did it for the first few rides. Then I rechecked the connections to make sure everything was tight and the noise went away.
