??? On Radar Dect. To Intercom

I have a cobra radar dect. When I hook it into my com system I get a lot of backfeed with the radio off but.... I can hear the radar dect. When I turn the radio on the feedback goes away BUT... then I can not hear the dect.here are some pics. Any help please !!!

Yes, what you are doing will not work for the issues you are experiencing. You need to get the AAWD (Alternative Audio Warning Device) cable for the Comm System. This provides power and carries the radar detector signal in prioritized above the others, cutting out the right headset speaker and piping to alert in there. IIRC it may be piggybacked with the PTT wiring harness. Once installed the connection is under the left handlebar cover, and you can route the wiring from there to the detector.

Thanks David.... I'll have to tackle that job a lil later I already have the Push To Talk on the bike for my CB. and the PO had a radar dect. on the bike so I saved all the wiring from that when I bought the bike.If I run into any other trouble I'll be sure to holler

Here is a pic of the other wiring that was on the bike when I bought it I know the PO had a cel phone hooked up ( I used the connector he left and that works with my cel great!!) but this was what he had for his radar?????

It may be; the connector looks like the right one, but I don't recall the rest of it. The harness plugged into the back of the Comm system under the stingray, was that run up and plugged into one of the front jacks in the ofddments box?
