How about this option? Otherwise you're probably looking at an Aviation headset.

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

I was thinking about those audio ear plugs that have the tiny speaker embedded in them. There is also a company that molds and ear bud to your ear with a speaker. Unfortunately, the coffee isn't thru brewing and I'm not even sure how I'm typing.

I was in the same situation when I got my '05 LT. I rode cruisers for a couple years before the LT ans was very use to not wearing a helmet.

I searched for solutions and found only one:
http://www.sierra-mc.com/proddetail....IMC%2DHS%2DB40 This worked but I was not happy with how it stayed on my head at any speed over 30 mph or so...

I finally made an adapter to use with a cell phone type headset. 6-pin DIN to 2.5 mm stereo. It worked okay, but you have to find headsets that utilze the correct type of mic - I ended up throwing out a couple that didn't work. I don't have a diagram of what I built, but may be able to put one together. I would not consider this a high quality solution at all compared to a good helmet headset. I have the pinout for the headset jack if you want it PM me.

Good luck, Tim

Thumbs up

A couple of these should work nicely. No dumber than riding without helmets.

I think Now Heat This is who Grif was referring to for molded ear plugs.

If it ever gets to hot in CT. to wear a helmet I may have to stop wearing pants here. Sorry, I tried to stay out of this, it is your choice.
