Aussie humour

Since its Australia Day today (26 Jan) here's a little sense of Aussie humour at work... you need to read all the way through the letters....
Well, I found it funny anyway!

Re: Aussie humour

I think it was funny creative stuff designed to annoy his neighbor. Wish he was my neighbor too.

Re: Aussie humour

The single lady behind me had an area light installed on the transformer pole in my back yard which was about fifty feet from my back door. I could literally read the newspaper in any room on the west face of my house. One can of aluminum spray paint and my extension ladder fixed that problem. It was a waste of time though as the electric company received so many complaints from the other neighbors they took it down.

Re: Aussie humour

When I was a young adult, the old man across the street had this problem with his backyard neighbor. His solution was to get out his pellet gun although he got a little more excitement than he expected - as he described it to me, when he shot it out it started raining sparks down the side of the neighbors house he ran to get a fire extinguisher thinking he was going to set fire to the guys house in the middle of the night. By the time he emerged with the extinguisher the sparks had subsided but what a great story, I only wish I could tell it as well as him God rest his soul.
