Where is everybody?

I know I asked this in the past and got some cute answers like "unlike other riders every GS/A owners is out riding" etc. but seriously where is everybody?

For the love of God, this is the slowest forum on the net for the most popular bike on the roads!

When I ride here in CA on the way to Yosemite, Big Sur, Sequoia or Mendocino etc., if I come across 100 bikes on the road probably more than half of them are either GS or GSA, yet nobody here, ever.

C'mon guys let's bring a little action here!

I know and I am there too but, I was wondering where are the people of these sites and I was wondering how many GS/A owners are around here? 3, 5, 10, 100????

I was just curious to know if anybody within few hundreds of miles from where I live or where I want to travel hanging around here or not.

I love to meet other bikers and chat a little when I am on the road and exchange few ideas, experiences, advise etc.

This is the place to do the same when we are not on the road. That's all.

ADV rider is global and I am less interested to meet a rider from Albania or Switzerland and his or her experience of last weekends ride than to hear the experience of another rider from central CA or AZ or OR.

You know, the destinations I may be riding.

BMWLT.COM is also global. Did you think this was a western regional forum?

No, I didn't think this was just a Western or state of CA forum but if this site is "global", than there are not many GS/A riders on this earth I guess

Your logic escapes me. On AdvRider there are 75,000 threads just for the Boxer GS. On this forum there are 800 threads. Seems like the logical conclusion is that there are tens of thousands of GS/A riders but most of them are unaware of this forum. Case in point--I've been a GS/A guy for over 10 years, I've owned 2 GS's and 3 GSA's, I have thousands of posts on AdvRider, but I didn't even know this forum existed until I bought my first K1200LT last summer and went searching for a LT forum. And then it was several months later that I discovered there was a GS sub-forum here on bmwlt.com.

So, let's help them to find out what a "gem" of forums this one is!
