The Perfect Cradle acutally gives you all the buttons and more than the BMW Nav II does. The 26xx/27xx units now have all the function buttons the SPIII, 276C, and etc have and will work with gloves on. I know some folks have no problem with gloves using the 26xx/27xx, but then others do being they have fat fingers. I like the idea myself and have been communicating with the company in the Netherlands.

YMMV.

Joe,

Since BMW won't allow Garmin to sell the Navigator cradle for the 2610/20, this gives you a solution to have easily accessible buttons to control the features of your GPS instaed of the touchscreen. I've found that the touch screen is difficult to use when wearing gloves (especially the close screen X button).

$355...that's a lot of money for a remote control (that's how it works). $99 - $149 would be more like it.

No wonder "I don't get it". I don't have one single issue using my 2610 while wearing gloves. And as Bruce has already pointed out...$355? OUCH!
