Look here for more info. Most likely engadged.com have missed out on the BMW press release. According to me we're looking at a SP2720, with BMW extra's (compass, BMW dealer waypoints and BMW cradle) and the BT function.

My local dealer told me today that there is a glut of Nav IIs in North America so don't look for the new one any too soon.

Well for the price of the Nav II, I'm not surprised.

Thumbs up I decided to go the 2730 route, so far I am satisfied...

Only issues I have are daylight readability at times. the audible, MP3 and XM stereo work great! I got the XM NavTraffic™* for $3.99 a month and it is very actually useful here in the San Francisco bay area. The weather coverage is text only and cloud icons but it can show weather on your route. I really enjoy the sexy little Australian girl who helps with the navigating The Garmin Motorcycle mount works very well. A guy at a light in a BMW 7series asked about the bike and I hit the speak button and she (swoon) spoke up and the guy just about lost it. He asked me to pull over so I did. He looked the bike up and down I showed him all the 2006 toys and he then asked where the dealer was. Did he buy one? Who knows! Sorry, mind a drifting... The 2730 can be had online for as little as $839.00 Instead of $1400.00 @!#$%@ dollars! I would say do the math but that phrase is getting to be dated! Right now the bike is in the shop for not wanting to start in the morning. I still have 200 miles to go before I can really open her up! The Canyon red 99' is still waiting for a new top case latch. I should order that so I can ride while I wait... I am thinking I will keep both so I can have a spare when out of town friends drop by the wine country and want to ride with me and well something to commute on so I don't log too many miles on the new pretty pretty!
