Smile Re Cap GPS Visor

Here are some pictures of my 2610 visor. The concept was Tsquared idea to use exposed and developed X-ray film. The pattern for the shield was slightly modified from my already proven SP 3 design. Additional material used was good old Velcro.
What do you think?

Does the visor interfere with "button-pushing"? The reason I ask is that I made a visor when we used a SPIII, but discontinued it when I found it difficult to get to all of the buttons. Also, the screen washout was really only an issue when the sun was directly over my shoulder.

Tom there is no interference with digital control. With the 2610 I also use a stylus glued to my glove from a palm pilot. This enhances pinpoint touch screen contact.

Don't know if one of these could be modified to fit a glove finger, butt if not, maybe a tip to the manufacturer would be worthwhile?!!

Yup, they work, sort of. Its works on my thin gloves butt not with my Gerbings. OTOH I dont really need it on the thin gloves, the heavy ones I do.
Btw, I also use a PDA stylus. I found that making it larger in diameter makes it easier to hang on to with heavy gloves. The hose from the canisterectomy (sp) will fit over it and then a wrap of velcro so I can stick it on my Darien when I am done.
