Tom Tom

Does anyone have any experience of Tom Tom Riders? There's been the original and then the Rider 2. I see there's a Rider 3 due out and it's 200 cheaper than a Zumo 660.

I'm wondering in particular about ease of use, readability, and ease of updating maps. I've been using the BMW Nav lll for years and while it's a great device updating the maps is a pain.

Re: Tom Tom

Has the new TomTom Rider been released in Europe yet. There is a fair amount of positive information available but I can't find anything about when it may cross the pond for sale in the US. At nearly half the price of the leading Garmin with motorcycle specific features, this looks like a nice unit. Anyone else have some info on these?

Yes, it's available at 399. Interestingly, the current Garmin zumo 350LM is not much more and way cheaper than the 660 it replaces. Competition is a good thing!
