Moisture in your GPS screen?

Just wondering if this is normal: my new (refurb) 2610 has a big oval area in the center of the screen where condensation forms and makes it very difficult to read in the sun. The moisture has appeared each time I take it outdoors, and lasts about 3-4 hours. It does not appear indoors or at night. Any ideas? Do I need to switch this unit out for a new one? Thanks.

If it's still under warranty, don't mess around with it...just send it back for repair/replacement. No, this is not "normal" at all.

Yep, its happened to me twice. I noticed it right away when the units were put in service and each time I shipped them back for replacement. The warranty is your friend, send it back.
So far (12K miles) so good on the third 2610.

Glad I'm not the only one. Thanks to both of you for your advice. I'll switch the unit out.

BTW, I now understand why GPS is high on the farkle list. Never had one before, but I'm a believer now!
