Waterproof GPS "Aqua Box"

Has anyone used one of these types of waterproof boxes for their Garmin (or similar) GPS?

It seems to look good, but not sure if you can plug in the power to your GPS through the box.

Is it as secure and user friendly as it looks? It seems to be a less expensive option than buying the Motorcycle variants!!

Here's the website to Mountguys.com and the one specifically for this case .

Thanks!

Re: Waterproof GPS "Aqua Box"

My XM radio and garage door opener live in one, They have been in there for over 5 years. The power comes thro the back, its all water proof if done right. Make sure your GPS will fit inside. If you wants some pictures I can get some Thursday morning. Chuck

Re: Waterproof GPS "Aqua Box"

Howdy Chuck! Thanks for the quick reply!
I'm finding myself getting caught in the rain frequently and am getting tired of the ziplock option....after watching the weather, it looks like I'm going to need a waterproof box for my Garmin Nuvi 370 for an upcoming venture.
I guess my question is whether or not the little receiver on the backside will work when it's in the down position.

Is there much room in the box?
