How to mount a StreetPilot under a shelf

I've got a streetpilot that I wanted to mount ontop of the shelf I have, BUT, with the windshield lowered all the way their isn't enough room to mount the streetpilot.

I found the RAM site and looked at their StreetPilot cradle, a "Little Budy", 90 degree mount, http://www.ram-mount.com/Products/GP...5/Default.aspx, and an interface that enables removal of the cradle for the mount.

Has anyone experience with this set up?
Any suggestions for another way to mount?

Since the Little Budy is 90 degrees, anyone mount it on top of the shelf?

Many Thanks
Bob
