Mount for Nuvi 855

Just purchased a refurbished Nuvi 855 to replace a non-supported BMW Nav. I have a BMR Co-Pilot Shelf on the LT.

What is the recommended mount for the Nuvi and source?

Re: Mount for Nuvi 855

I have the765T (don't know how close that is to yours). I don't use it all the time, so for me, it's real easy to just use the suction mount on the top edge of the oddments box. Easy to see, I don't listen to it anyway, stays put, and easy to just unclip and put in my pocket on stops. I did wire a cigarette style plug right above the battery, and run the cord up in front of the seat to the mount.
I was looking today, and you can get any type of mount on E-bay or at Garmin's website. Not a lot of money either.

Re: Mount for Nuvi 855

PM,

This is what I came up with off of the RAM site FWIW

Ram Mount Nuvi855

I haven't been able to decide on my flavor of GPS yet, but when I do I have already chosen to mount it on one of these reservoir balls

Re: Mount for Nuvi 855

Paul, when you said "mount", would that include the electrical hook-up or just a fastening matter?
If it's the electrical portion, Garmin has those, as does e-bay.
