Installing Nav 4 on 09 LT

Have an 09 LT that we are installing a BMW Nav 4 unit onto. Bike is wired for a unit but has two different plug connectors than what the Nav 4 unit has. One is a three wire plug that I believe goes into a plug up under the bike, the other is a two wire connector with a brown and white wire. Can I remove the connectors on the bike and can the two wire connector from the unit be hard wired ?

Re: Installing Nav 4 on 09 LT

If I remember correctly from when mine was installed, the wiring that comes up to the back of the mount is for a NAV3, and the NAV4 has it's own wiring. if you trace the "existing" wiring down you will find it unplugs. The NAV4 should plug into SOME of those connectors, you don't use them all. I believe one is for the CB option. You shouldn't have to cut any wires when installing. Any unused connectors just get tucked away.
