Nav II Touch Screen

My Garmin Nav II touch screen stopped working this weekend. The GPS works and the buttons on the console are fine, but without touch, it seems hard to use it properly. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Re: Nav II Touch Screen

Mine did the same thing. Everything worked except the touch screen. I had given up on it since it's such an outdated unit and it wasn't cost effective to send it back to Garmin. I wasn't sure whether they'd be able to do anything with it or not. I put it back in the box and forgot about it for a couple of months. While doing some cleaning and rearranging of my closet I came upon the box and checked it out real quick before tossing it in the trash. Lo and behold, the unit was operating properly and has been for several months now.

So maybe if I throw it in a box and forget it then! Oh well, glad yours is working.
