Re: TomTom Rider 2

Doug, I have been looking at one. I have the TomTom One right now and while it's really easy to use, I would think something a bit more would be better. My screen has faded so it's hard to read in the sunlight but it was not made for outside use.

Re: TomTom Rider 2

I called TomTom and the Rider is not being made any more. What's worse (from my viewpoint anyway), is that they don't offer any other GPS that does Bluetooth. AND, they couldn't tell me if Cardo was the only headset that would work with a Rider.

Re: TomTom Rider 2

From TT uk.

Dear Mr rtfatboy,

Thanks for your email regarding the TomTom Rider 2, you're dealing with Scot.
The reference number for your query is 1XXXXX-XX.

I can confirm that we will soon be releasing a new model for Bike users called the Rider 3. As this is the successor to the Rider 2, we will no longer be manufacturing that device, although you should find that there are still plenty in circulation.

I hope this answers your question but if you have any further queries please feel free to contact us again.

Thanks for choosing TomTom.

With Kind Regards

Scot Y

They're still available over here at the moment, should anyone be looking. It might be worth waiting for the new one though.

Jim
