Navigator IV connection to 2010 RT

I just got a Navigator IV and am getting ready to connect to m y 2010 RT. I am using the BMW above the dash mount and was wondering if the dash needs to come out to run the wire down to the wiring plug.

Re: Navigator IV connection to 2010 RT

Mine was fitted by the dealer and the cable is fitted through a small gap just behind the nav mount so it looks like you will have to remove the facia around the speedo / rev counter only, 4 or 5 screws that I can see, and feed it through.

Just out of interest do you have 2 connectors on the Nav IV, power and sound?. The dealer has only fitted power for mine as I have no sound through the audio system
