Bluetooth Phone used with 2820

Hi Guys,

For those that are using the Bluetooth function of the Garmin 2820 and a Motorola HF-820 BT headset adapter, which phone are you using in this setup with good success?

My old Palm Centro worked great. My wife's Sanyo Katana works great. My Palm Pre does not. With all the other issues with the Pre, I am looking for another phone.

I appreciate all input. Thanks.

John

Thanks for your input. I easily paired a co-workers BB 8530 Curve to my setup and the calls were perfect. The BB Curve is on its way.

Thanks again.

Oh and BTW. Some Palm bashing here. Not even including this Bluetooth issue, the Palm Pre is the slowest most useless cell phone or smartphone I have ever used. Doesn't handle docs very well, some office docs not fully readable, lost 2 speakerphones, lost 2 power buttons, transition between apps is unbelievably slow, accelerometer is dicey. Battery life is low. Charging on the Touchstone slightly off position will discharge the battery. As soon as all my data is moved to the new phone, I can't wait to pitch this thing into a brick wall and see it explode into many plastic bits. The thing has a lot of new technology but is not ready for the market. Stay away.
