Zumo 660 & 665

Anyone know if the Zumo 665 is going to use the same mount as the 660 or even the 550?

Re: Zumo 660 & 665

Not that I've seen the 665 yet, but all the size factors are exactly the same as the 660. I'll bet you a dollar to donuts that the mount and connections will be exactly the same as the 660.

Kinda what I was thinking, I am going to add some farkles and my fuel strip is toast so when the dealer does the fuel strip (I assume they must tear down a fair amount of the bike to get to it?) under warranty (It's an '09 RT) then they can install a Centech Ap-2, some Clearwater lights the BMR co-pilot, wire my detector and and re-wire my front socket all at the same time and put it all back together just ready to snap the 665 into place. I am trying get this done before the 665 is availavble which now sounds like MAY???

I really want the caliper mounted lights in place ASAP for added safety conspicuity. Not to mention my V1, as it very difficult sometimes to keep the RT under the posted limit!

also be nice to have the phone and some tunes available!

You might want to go with the Eastern Beaver fuseblock PC-8 http://www.easternbeaver.com/Main/Pr...fuseboxes.html It is a much better product. I had the Terminal strip delaminate from the circuit board on the Centech in the middle of a trip, and I have heard similar accounts from others.
