Gps Satellite Radio Combo?

Hello All, new member here. I just picked up a used 2007 LT. Well slightly used 2800 miles. This is my third LT I had the first year out and an 02. Since then the options have changed. My current LT is GPS ready but no Unit. Is there a preferred GPS unit nowadays? I own a garmin quest but dont think it will work with the voice/intercom system without a lot of crazy fiddling. Also is there a way to get a gps that has sirius built as I will want satellite radio too.

JMO, the Garmin Zumo 550 is the best.

Re: Gps Satellite Radio Combo?

Do all of these plug right into the GPS Ready part on my bike and do they work with the intercom system like play into the helmet speakers etc? Also are they waterproof? What type of antenna or antenna's will it need. Is it just one antenna for gps and satellite?

Go to erwincomp.com they have the Zumo 660 for $656.95. I bought my 550 there. I even called Garmin and asked them about their reputation and they were #1. You may get it cheaper if you do your research. Some of the guys went to Best Buy and they were blowing the Zumo 550 out for around $300.00.

Good luck.

Oooohhhm, here's where I get to brag again:

That puck on the left is the XM/NavTraffic antenna. It BlueTooths my iPhone so I can make calls while riding.

This is all wired into an AutoCom system so I can't give you any insight on your system.

I must say, however, I got the in-ear molded headsets made at the last International Motorcycle Show and now that's all I use. They blow away in-helmet speakers (I bought some good ones and wired them into the helmet) and any high-end ear buds I've tried, and I've tried Etymotic ER4's, ER6's (two types) and some Shures.
