Re: Navigator II vs. Navigator III and III plus
I had a II on a 2004 bike. I traded it for an 07. Origianlly I adapted a ZUMO to the mount and ran the audio wire to the AUX in the tank box. Wored fine. I took it off and spent the 1200 for a III for the blue tooth. Came to find out, it is not a fully integrated system. Still have to eithe rplug th phone in to the phone input in the tank box or use a Moto HF820 paired to the phone and it is plugged into the phone jack.
The ZUMO is on my R1200 GS now with a J&M Integrator.
If I had to do the LT over again, I would go to teh ZUMO, pic up the power wire from the factory wiring and use the J&M Y cord they have to adapt the ZUMO to the Integrator phone and Aux plug. This would give you full blue tooth phone to Zumo, songs from the Zumo to the bike and phone through the ZUMO to the bike. The ZUMO is MUCH better display and usabiltiy IMHO than the navigator
