Question How to Load 2820 with maps & audiobooks??

Hi all;

Wife and I will be leaving for WV next Sat and I would like to put some additonal maps of the route we are taking and some audiobooks I have.

Anyone know how to do this on the Garmin 2820??

Regards,

Re: How to Load 2820 with maps & audiobooks??

Your "maps" are already loaded unless you deleted them from the GPS. You may be talking about your routes. Those get "transfered" to the GPS from your mapsouce. That would be from the transfer menu, send to device sub menu. Select our device, then check to transfer waypoints and routes.

Hope this helps.

The transfer, as indicated above, is from your PC, via the USB cable that plugs into the 2820. MapSource will load up everything you need. You will need to use the power adapter so you can power up the 2820 while hooked to your computer.
