remote for 2720 garmin

My touch screen quit working saturday & I leave for VT this thursday & won't have time to get it fixed. I was wondering if anyone in the charlotte area has a remote control for a 2720 that I could use.

I have one for the 2620 you can borrow, if it'll work.

Thanks for the offer but I don't think its worth the shipping cost. The screen works once & a while so I left it on all day and was able to get the thursday trip in. every time I walk by it I just touched the screen

Now if I can get fridays trip in I'll be all set. I don't need it for sat. or sun. I also carry maps.

Dave,

I've got a couple of 'em I never use. Let me know how you want to get together for a hand off.

Thanks for the offer. cccpastor jack has offered me his 2720 to use. The thing that pisses me off is that I have only had it on when I need it. Which is just a little over 100hrs. I'll more than likely loose my max speed 123mph fully loaded & my average moving speed 65.5mph over the last 6,800 miles when I send it in for warranty work.

They usually don't fix stuff like this. They just send you a new one.

I have a 2820 with remote and have thought about trying to use it but where would you mount it?
