Also check out: www.getfeetwet.com for new and reconditioned units. I just ordered a new 2820 with K1200LT accessories for less than $300.00 new. So far great customer follow up and unit is on it's way.

Got some electrical wiring to do this weekend. Volt OHM meter, Garage opener switch and the new GPS.

Bike gonna be naked this weekend....

Re: garmin gps 2720 deal

I previously had the Street Pilot III and bracket installed where the "dash" light is below the windshield. I think this bracket attachs to the metal one one coming out of the light opening. This package seems to be complete, but I won't know until I begin to install it, I hope this weekend.

1 010-00517-05 SKU:010-00517-05 Garmin StreetPilot 2820 $245

1 010-10495-00 SKU:010-10495-00 Motorcycle mounting kit (unit bracket power/audio cable screws) for 2600 etc $38.49

Re: garmin gps 2720 deal

I have a 2610 that I dearly love but realize that it will not last forever . Can you tell me if the 2720/2820 units are compatible with MapSource? I like to generate my routes and waypoints with MapSource and upload them to the GPS. Can this be done with the NT maps on the newer units?

Yes both the 2720 and the 2820 use the NT maps.
