CES starts tomorrow in Vegas. I'm betting there will be a model or two announced.

Enge explains. "With received power levels of 10-16 watt,

This is inaccurate. Received signals are in the microwatt range. 10-16 watts at any receiver will overload the preamp circuits.

Not sure about the rest of the article's accuracy.

Good point Paul.

With no basis for facts how about this.
Next GPS will not just recieve info, they will send info for information sharing among other GPS units for traffic info. Keep records for your insurance company and meter the miles you travel for road tax. How about that.

I believe, I believe. Saw a blurb on tv tonight about green taxing larger cars like SUV's. The another about raising the fed gas tax to make up the difference caused by conservation. Will it ever end? Finally, the black box for cars. How fast you accelerate, where you go, did you hit the brakes too hard and cause a skid?

Can't wait till spring to ride the LT!

OK..heres some facts.... On Dec. 19 in the GPS forum I asked if any one has experience with the "Dash Express"...it does use the internet to share traffic info with other Dash Express users in the area.

Re: Garmin discontinues every motorcycle GPS but one.

The following is copied from the www.zumoforums.com site. I actually did see it on the Garmin site also. Those that have contacted Garmin about it have found that they admit to it being on the site, but are not forthcoming with any info on it. Say it will probably be intro'd at the CES show this coming weekend.

Try this link to the Garmin Site - it seems to come and go:
